Danone inaugurates its new "La Fayette" headquarters

  • Corporate news

Danone announces the move of its teams into its new headquarters at 59-61 rue La Fayette, in the heart of the 9th arrondissement of Paris. Beyond a mere change of address, this move marks the opening of a new chapter in the Group's history.

A project designed to support a collective transformation and devise the Danone of tomorrow

The Group's move to this new building, announced to employees in 2024, represents a new dynamic for Danone. This project is an opportunity to strengthen the Group's identity and is also part of a global initiative to reinvent the employee experience within their work environment.

The new headquarters will provide a more modern, collaborative, flexible and sustainable environment for the 800 employees who work there every day. It reflects a desire to rethink the way we work, with a wide range of collaborative spaces designed to encourage teamwork and exchanges, and foster creativity and innovation.

The new premises include a number of shared areas designed to make life easier and more convivial: an auditorium, a library, catering facilities (restaurant, bar, takeaway, breakfast area) and a number of terraces.

Employee well-being and personal development is at the heart of the project

The new headquarters incorporates a series of areas designed to improve the quality of life at work and encourage employees' personal development. The facilities include breastfeeding and rest rooms, a yoga and Pilates room, a multi-purpose studio, dedicated training areas and numerous planted areas. These areas have been designed to provide places where people can take a break, rejuvenate and concentrate in everyday life.

The integration of these spaces reflects a desire to place hospitality at the heart of the work environment, to meet the individual needs of employees, and to support the diversity of career paths.

This move marks a major milestone in Danone's history, not least because it is only our third move in over fifty years. It illustrates our desire to build a work environment that is in tune with the challenges of tomorrow, and reflects a corporate culture that is on the move and focused on innovation

Antoine de Saint Affrique CEO of Danone

Located in the heart of a central and dynamic district, the new headquarters is designed to be close at hand, accessible and open. It is a new stage in Danone's development, in tune with its social and environmental commitments.
