Sustainability
Danone is committed to the sustainable shared value creation model that has driven its vision of business since it established its dual economic and social project for the first time in 1972. Building on this heritage, Danone defined more than 15 years ago its mission as a Group: bringing health through food to as many people as possible.
In March 2022, Danone unveiled a new strategic plan, Renew Danone, that ambitions to reconnect Danone with a sustainably profitable growth model, underpinned by greater alignment between purpose and performance. In that context, in February 2023, the Group reframed its sustainability roadmap called the Danone Impact Journey, articulated around 3 pillars: Health, Nature and People & Communities. For each pillar, the Group defines a set of priorities which are translated into mid to long-term objectives.
