Danone launches the Iron Up! program to accelerate its efforts in the fight against Iron Deficiency Anemia in Children

  • Iron Up! is the first global program of its kind that is set to positively impact the health of young children around the world at risk of or impacted by iron deficiency anemia (IDA).
  • Anemia is a prevalent but preventable public health concern mainly affecting young children and pregnant and post-partum women. Diet and intake of iron-rich nutrition in particular are a powerful lever to address iron deficiency, the leading cause of anemia.
