To communicate to the general public about its commitment to bring health through food to as many people as possible, Danone is unveiling a communications campaign designed by BETC agency.

Health is our most precious asset – what we need the most to live, to be happy, and to be fulfilled throughout our lives. Food plays a major role in building good health, which is why Danone is committed to putting health-enhancing products in the hands of as many people as possible, from infants to seniors. 


Benefiting from more than 100 years of expertise, Danone wishes to inspire healthier and more sustainable eating and consumption habits. We stand by people with specific nutritional needs, through four fundamental categories for health, for all ages, and needs:


  • Natural mineral waters, naturally pure and from natural sites that Danone helps to protect. With their unique mineralization, natural mineral waters provide optimal daily hydration for everyone, while respecting nature.
  • Dairy and plant-based products, source of essential nutrients and benefitting from world-renowned expertise in fermentation. Danone has one of the world's largest libraries of ferments and probiotics, which researchers carefully select from to develop dairy products. Danone also offers a range of plant-based food and drinks to meet consumer expectations for more sustainable options, complementary to our dairy products. 
  • Baby formulas designed to support the growth and development of children during the first 1,000 days of life, a key period for building the fundamentals of our future health. For people who cannot or choose not to breastfeed, Danone offers baby formulas based on 50 years of scientific research on breast milk.
  • Medical nutrition intended for people weakened by age or illness. Danone has been a pioneer in the field of medical nutrition for 125 years and develops products that support patients' therapeutic treatments and meet their specific nutritional needs.


Danone is highlighting its health expertise in these 4 categories through a communications campaign, which will be broadcast nationwide in France starting February 6.


The campaign features headings aiming to help build understanding of the critical impact of food and drink on our health at all stages of life. It also uses a powerful catchphrase to showcase the company’s expertise and commitment: Danone. Making every age the best age.


The campaign is being rolled out in print magazines, daily news, radio, and digital channels. It is being launched the same day as the inauguration of the new Daniel Carasso International Research & Innovation Center, located in the heart of the Paris-Saclay area, and dedicated to the development and innovation of Danone’s fresh dairy and plant-based products as well as water. 

Medical nutrition products are Foods for Special Medical Purposes for the dietary management of disease-related malnutrition. They must be used under medical supervision.

Breastfeeding offers babies the best nutritional start in life. Danone supports the World Health Organization’s public health recommendation of exclusive breastfeeding for the first six months of age and continued breastfeeding up to two years and beyond, combined with the safe introduction of appropriate complementary foods.
