Danone acquired Obour Plant in 2006. It has 9 production lines and a milk reception area. Obour Plant is the first plant in Danone Africa to achieve above 900/1000 for 5 consecutive years in the PRP Audit (Hygiene Prerequisite Program) done by the American Institute of Bakery (AIB) and has been re-certified for FSSC 22000 in January 2019 to January 2022 (the highest level of food safety standard worldwide). Obour plant follows the certified HACPP system to control any food safety risks on our finished product for the safety of our consumers
