What is Dow Jones Sustainability index?

:: The DJSI is one of the three main stock indexes on sustainable development, with the FTSEA 4 Good and the ASPI.
Those are used as the basis for the found of SRI (Social Responsible Investing), a type of found which integrates environmental, social and governance criteria, in addition to economics’ ones.
Since the beginning of the 2000’s, this type of founds become more and more important. If it only represents 0.1% of the world financial investment it is already 11% of all assets in the United States.
Within the last 2 years those assets increased by 18% (total US assets involved with SRI criteria = 2.7 trillions USD).
