Join Actimel in supporting the Pasteur Institute
:: The initiative described here is intended principally for the French public.
Over the past 150 years, the Pasteur Institute has saved millions of lives with groundbreaking medical research, not least into infectious diseases and the immune system.
Since 2005, researchers from Danone and the Institute have been working together on ferments and probiotics, including those contained in Actimel, to better understand their effects on the human organism.
Today, Danone looks beyond this scientific partnership to offer direct financial support for the Pasteur Institute, a not-for-profit, public-interest organization that is to a large extent dependent on private donations.
A step forward through better understanding
This year, Actimel is again providing financial support for the Pasteur Institute's research.
To do so, it is posting a video on the internet that explains the operation of the human immune system. The video presented by Fred and Jamy, who host popular science programs on French TV. For each download, Actimel will donate €0.50 to the Institute.
Limited to one download per IP address. Connection costs not refunded.
