The challenges of the organisation
::Danone Research is the organisation that runs all the group’s R&D resources across the world. Some of the teams are integrated into the four divisions (Fresh Dairy Products, Waters, Baby Nutrition and Medical Nutrition) in order to better serve their business needs.On the other hand, others are working on transversal missions in key scientific expertises such as clinical research, intestinal microbiota and global nutrition, to name but a few.
The Danone Research organisation’s objective is to guarantee:
- the relevance of its innovations via ascertained health benefits through prospective work with consumers and experts, the understanding of local specificities, regulatory constraints and environmental issues ;
- the strength of the scientific evidence backing up our health benefit brands as well as taking into account their specific technological constraints ;
- the effective collaboration between local and central teams, aiming at fueling innovation.
