Communication at Danone

::Communication at Danone exists to ensure the company achieves coherence across its policies. The department is composed of different divisions, all focused on specific aspects, including finance, human resources, research & development, nutrition & health, press relations and event management. However, all areas of the department have one objective: to communicate and explain the company’s decisions to all stakeholders, and to promote the company's values and performance.
"Working in the Media department, I had to improve the efficiency of media investments for all entities of Dumex Baby Food China. In this capacity, I was in contact with all the CBUs in China, and 80% of my work was done with the Baby nutrition and Fresh Dairy Products divisions around Shanghai in order to make the best use of everyone’s experience and optimise our media investments. During this whole period, the most striking thing was the constant and really positive support I received from everyone I worked with. All the divisions had a genuine desire to share and to exchange.
Danone has been my only employer since I graduated… 12 years ago! If I had to sum up Danone’s philosophy, it would be “openness above all”. The group has always offered me new challenges or new job opportunities. I started out in R&D but now I am in charge of media & CRM (Customer Relationship Management). What a big different it is! During the changes of my jobs, I had the chance to go from Biscuits to Fresh Dairy, then to baby nutrition. From the moment you achieve the results that are expected for; the group is always able to offer you your next challenge/opportunity at the right time.
It is a group that has understood that if it wants to succeed, it must constantly help its men and women grow."
