Communication at Danone
::Communication at Danone exists to ensure the company achieves coherence across its policies. The department is composed of different divisions, all focused on specific aspects, including finance, human resources, research & development, nutrition & health, press relations and event management. However, all areas of the department have one objective: to communicate and explain the company’s decisions to all stakeholders, and to promote the company's values and performance.
“Ten years ago I joined Danone and established the communications and external relations team in Italy. I loved the culture of the company straightaway, and after three years I transferred to Paris to join the communications department there. That move opened the door to several interesting career opportunities, including managing the internal communications associated with the Danone World Cup.
I’ve always enjoyed developing and evolving concepts and projects, and bringing people together to generate ideas and action. In my present role, the challenge is to create the right infrastructure that means Danone is regarded highly by external and internal audiences. A fundamental part of the job is to research new solutions and to take an innovative approach – and that motivates me greatly.”
Gabriella, Communication Director Danone France
