Integrating the consumer at the heart of the product
Consumer science aims to further elucidate the human aspects of dietary consumption by integrating the individual consumer at the heart of the product.
In order to fulfill the consumer’s needs, we integrate him/her, as a partner, in the development of products launched.
In order to elicit the consumer’s expectations and thus design preferred products, our Sensory and Behavior team encompasses different specific expertises: sociology, psychology, sensory analysis, statistics, etc.
- Sociology helps us elucidate dietary behavior and practices in order to develop products pertinent to the target population’s needs and requirements.
- Sensory analysis enables us to validate the preferences for our products in terms of taste, texture and color over time and for our various plants.
The highly-focused expertise enables us to address our consumers’ true concerns with optimal relevance.
A research centre facility is dedicated to receiving our consumers, “l’Ateliez”, a veritable research laboratory where consumers interact directly with our formulation scientists to jointly create the optimal formulae for our future products. We call this process ‘live formulation’.
