“I work in Danone’s Research Centre for Specialised Nutrition in the Netherlands. The standards here are so high that we have achieved an ISO 9001:2000 certification for clinical trial management – which is unique for nutrition companies and even for pharmaceutical companies. My current role is to align the way of working between our clinical trial team here in Wageningen and our colleagues based in Palaiseau, Friedrichsdorf, and Liverpool.
What I appreciate most about my work is the trust and confidence that the company instils in me. I feel challenged to take new initiatives, and I can also encourage people in the team to come up with good ideas and devise new ways of meeting business needs. It’s very rewarding to know that my efforts help to develop Danone’s business and strengthen its scientific credibility.”
Sonja, Group Leader Methodology and Quality System Manager, Clinical Trials, The Netherlands
