R & D at DANONE

:: Innovation in health & nutrition now constitutes the major key to growth for Groupe Danone. The Group’s ability to lay claim to scientifically validated health benefits for consumers results from the expertise of its Research & Development teams. In order to guarantee the health, safety and satisfaction of consumers throughout the world, some 600 staff of 25 different nationalities, including almost 500 researchers, development staff and quality engineers are busy at the Daniel Carasso Research Centre near Paris.

Their energies are concentrated on the following areas of scientific expertise:
- Microbiology, yoghurt starters and probiotics
- Clinical research
- Human physiology and nutrition
- Functional formulations
- Consumer sciences

What type of candidates are we are looking for?
Agronomic engineers, doctors active in our specific areas of scientific expertise, either at the end of their studies or with experience of the food-processing, cosmetics or pharmaceutical industries.
International experience is an advantage and a good level of English is essential.
