Quality at Danone

::Working in Quality is about placing the consumer at the forefront of the group’s priorities. Organisational and quality management systems are in place, based on consumer expectations; consumers are increasingly stringent about food hygiene, health benefits and customer reactivity.

In the Quality department, product design, development and production is managed, as is the response to customer requirements and expectations. These positions offer plenty of room for development. As well as the mandatory technical expertise, you need excellent managerial skills and the ability to carry out risk analysis in a structured manner.

“I joined Danone in 2005 as a Quality Assurance Manager and in 2008 I was promoted to Quality Director of Health. In this role I report directly to the General Manager of Health. My responsibilities include quality management for all plants, as well as the approval and monitoring of our different suppliers. I get involved in the development of new products and new packaging, and I also lead the anti-counterfeit activities of the whole company.
For me, the truly outstanding thing about Danone is our commitment to providing the best health and nutrition for all our customers. And the company shows its employees the same high levels of respect too.
