::Finance is much more than just a support function. It is a competitive asset that contributes directly to improving the Group's performance. Thanks to highly refined and responsive tools and methods, the Finance department strives to respond as efficiently as possible to the needs of the subsidiaries, without, of course, neglecting the fundamentals like internal control, strategic planning, and risk management, while at the same time guaranteeing the proper implementation of budgets and plans.
Finance offers a variety of careers, an increasing number of which are international—some 14% of DANONE’s employees who live abroad work in Finance. A professional attitude, discipline and good communication skills would ensure development in Finance, alternating between operational and functional positions.
