Learning by Danone: a unique way to learn!
Because People Growth is an integral part of Danone strategy, renewing continuously our ways to learn and to develop within the group is key. The “learningbydanone” programs and solutions aim at accelerating the development of Danone People for sustainable growth & performance by providing distinctive learning solutions and approaches:
- Building the necessary competencies to support the business in the short & mid term,
- Developing a distinctive leadership culture and skills “à la Danone”,
- Contributing to the growth of Danone people, and strengthening the link between business performance & the quality of management,
- Fostering networking, gathering & sharing Danone best practices.
Since many years, it has been done by transferring the competencies necessary to reach excellence in each function. Today, through the Danone Leadership College, we also aim at developing all team leaders (about 15 000 people) in a distinctive leadership culture inspired by our Danone Values, and leveraging the strengths of our four divisions: the Danone Leadership CODE (Committed, Open, Doer, and Empowered).
Team Leaders have a very special & important role to play in Danone: coach & develop their teams, to enable empowerment at all levels; and also share their know-how & best practices with their colleagues and more broadly within the Group. This principle of "internal training & networking" is one of the key ingredients of the "Learning by Danone" recipe that makes it powerful & unique.
